The Manor has large front and side yards in a beautiful
tree-lined residential area. It's an excellent place for sports recreation, or simple
relaxation.
|
The Manor was built in 1930 as a fraternity house.
In 1934 it became the home of the Pi Kappa Phi Sorority. In 1958 it became a boarding
house for retired Presbyterian women. The Presbyterian Church named the building the
Kirkpatrick Manor. In 2000, Triangle purchased The Manor for use as a boarding house.
|
The Manor has a very large patio area where we have
cookouts and other recreational activities. The patio connects to the parking lot
with an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp.
|
The patio has ambient lighting for safety. It makes
a very nice place to hang out and talk to friends when the weather's nice.
|
During the recent renovation, carpeting was removed
and the beautiful hardwood floors were refurbished. Also added was a fire sprinkler
system in every room of The Manor.
|
The Manor has a full industrial kitchen. Residents
are allowed access to the kitchen. Meal plan meals are prepared there, and residents
prepare their own breakfasts and snacks.
|
The Manor has a Recreation Room in the basement for
playing pool and arcade games. Or just for recreating.
|
The Manor includes a basement social lounge with a
dance floor and a bar.
