A warm welcome to our new Chef Manager Nicki.
Nicki is an experienced Chef Manager with over 15 years in the catering industry, and she is delighted to be part of the team at St Cross Grange.
Having worked her way up from Catering Assistant, Nicki trained at college and achieved her NVQ in Catering, building a strong foundation in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership.
After 13 years in her previous role, Nicki made the decision to step away from her career for a period to care for her father. This experience gave her a new perspective and motivated her to seek a fresh challenge, bringing her skills, dedication, and passion for food into the next stage of her career.
Nicki is passionate about offering a wide variety of fresh, tasty, home-cooked meals and sweet treats, using seasonal produce wherever possible. Whether it’s hearty comfort food, delicious homemade bakes, or healthy fruit platters, Nicki is keen to ensure that her food and her team’s food is enjoyed by everyone.
She is also keen to gather feedback and suggestions, so she can tailor menus around the types of meals our residents would most like to see and enjoy.
