Beautiful Winter Mornings

Winter may not be everyone’s favourite season, but who can deny mornings as beautiful as this?

The view from our front door shows the sun rising above the misty fields opposite.

We even have a new visitor, who we think is a song thrush who has taken to singing their heart out each morning and early evening, and seems to be encouraging other birds to join in.

The song thrush may be a new occupant of St Cross Grange, but they are very welcome. Such a beautiful song and long may it continue.
