Preparations Underway for Our D-Day Street Party
Yesterday afternoon, our residents got creative as they helped prepare decorations for our upcoming D-Day Street Party.
With paintbrushes in hand, residents carefully painted Union Jack flags onto bunting and worked together to create colourful paper chains. As the paper chains grew longer, so did the conversations, with many residents reminiscing about making similar decorations during their school days. It seems that creating paper chains is a tradition shared by every generation!
The activity sparked lots of memories and discussion, as residents shared stories and chatted about the celebrations ahead. Everyone shared their plans and looked forward to welcoming friends and family to join us for this special occasion.
The afternoon was filled with creativity and laughter, and the decorations are already looking fantastic.
We are all eagerly counting down to the street party and hope to see lots of loved ones there as we come together to commemorate D-Day and celebrate this important moment in history.
