Nicola was appointed General Manager of Lincombe Manor Care Centre in January 2024.

She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in January 2003 after completing her training in Exeter with the University of Plymouth. She remained in Exeter, working at The Nuffield Hospital as a junior nurse and The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. She then joined the care sector which lead her towards working as a Clinical Care Manager with Elizabeth Finn Homes for ten years, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Away from work Nicola lives in Exeter with her husband Dave and two children, Freya and Harrison. She enjoys horse riding, walking her two dogs, and holidaying with her family.

Hello, my name is Justine. I am proud to say I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years and love the profession with all my heart. I have worked both in the hospital setting and since 2007 in the care home industry. My passion is working alongside our older population ensuring they receive quality person-centred care and enjoy the next stage of their lives in our beautiful care home.

My name is Violeta and I have worked here at Lincombe Manor as part of the Housekeeping team for 5 years now. I was promoted to Head of Housekeeping in 2021. I work in a wonderful place with wonderful people and I enjoy every day.

Hello, my name is Roxanne and I am the Wellbeing Lead here at Lincombe Manor Care Centre. I have been here for 10 years and have worked in care for just over that. When I first started here I was a Care Assistant and have worked my way to activities coordinator and then to Lead Wellbeing coordinator. I really enjoy my job where I get to plan alongside residents the activities they would like to see and do.

I also enjoy that I get to spend quality time with the residents in either one-to-one visits or group sessions. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, walk my dogs and go swimming.

My name is Gerry and I joined Lincombe Manor Care Centre in April 2015 as the Maintenance Manager. I have a carpentry and joinery background and have spent many years as a building supervisor in the construction industry.

I am responsible for all the general maintenance and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
I have passion for my work and like to make sure the residents, staff and visitors have a pleasant and safe environment to live in and visit.

My name is Holly and I am the lead Administrator here at Lincombe Manor Care Centre. Some of my roles are calculating and running payroll, and aiding Head Office with admissions and petty cash. I am well supported by Andrea and between us we keep Admin running smoothly.

Before I was an Administrator, I worked as a Mental Health Care Assistant for over 10 years, gaining various NVQs and qualifications in the process. I particularly enjoy the HR side of my role, as I feel that all of our staff are very important and need to be looked after well. When I am not working, I spend time with my husband, Peter, and our young son. I am here to help you in any way that I can, so please don’t be afraid to ask.

My name is Denise Barry and I’ve worked here in Lincombe Manor for 7 years I joined as a Senior Care assistant then trained to be a care practitioner. In April 2022 I completed my Level 5 Diploma and became an Assistant Practitioner where I not only get to support the residents health and social needs but work closely with our Nurses to provide high standards of nursing care to all who live at Lincombe. I’ve been working in the care sector for over 25 years, I’ve worked in residential and nursing homes, working with dementia residents and adults with learning disabilities. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with my friends and family.

My name is Helen, and I am the Clinical Lead RN here at Lincombe Manor Care Centre. I began my nurse training in 1985, starting in hospital settings in Herefordshire, Lincolnshire and South Devon. I have always felt very blessed to be able to find a career which I feel so proud and passionate about.

I relocated back to South Devon from Lincolnshire in 2017, which is when I began my journey at Lincombe Manor Care Centre, progressing in my role from RN, to Senior RN and becoming Clinical lead in 2024.

Away from work, I enjoy walking in beautiful Devon. I love nature and its vast variety of birds and animals. That said, I am equally happy to sit in a café with a good book and a latte, on a rainy day.

My name is Sinead and I have been here at Lincombe for 2 years as a senior RN, but I have been a Registered Nurse for 21 years.

Originally from Ireland, I moved over to England and now enjoy Nursing in the beautiful South West.

When not working I spend lots of time with my two beautiful children, who mean the world to me.
